Appearance

A captive Honduran milk snake may grow to be as long as 5 feet, making it one of the longest subspecies of milk snake. The Batesian mimicry of the Honduran milk snake, which causes it to seem like a coral snake, is an effective defense mechanism.

Diet and Nutrition

The Honduras milk snake kills its prey through constriction and is opportunistic in its diet, feeding on whatever it can get its jaws on, including other snakes (ophiophagy), lizards, mice, birds, and eggs. Successful captive maintenance is achieved by feeding them rodents such as mice and rats.

Habitat 

The ground should be covered with aspen or wood mulch at a depth of at least 2 inches. There should be a tiny water bowl, a hide house, and a heater that fits beneath the tank.
