Beige Sapphires are very rare to be found as their demand is low.
A Beige Sapphire has red eyes with dark spots, and it is an indicator that the chinchilla is indeed expressing Sapphire.
Its hue may look very similar to the Beige Violet, however they may show barring in the fur just like Sapphires.

Black Velvets are a gray chinchilla with the ToV or Touch of Velvet gene. Sometimes they are born with a little black around the nose and sometimes they have a full veil. The veiling may take up to 2 years to fully develop. The TOV gene adds a black veil and in some cases a different texture to the fur. Bellies and the underside of the jaw should be pure white and there should be no break in the veil from nose to tail. A break in the veil at the neck is called a halo.

An ebony is a standard chinchilla with an accumulation of the ebony gene. They can be distinguished by a belly that is not white. The common terms used are Hetero and Homo. These are descriptive terms and not true to the genetic accumulative nature of the ebony gene. To date there is no such thing as a true homogyzous state of ebony.

Violet is a recessive color and requires both parents to be carriers to produce a violet. They should have an even color and fur texture and bright crisp white belly. Ideally they will be a violet color and not dove grey. TOV Violets (or Royal Violet) are homozygous for violet and heterozygous for the Touch of Velvet (TOV) gene. There are two recognized types of violet, german violet and Sullivan (African) violet.

White Ebony Chinchilla For Sale

Ebony white is the same thing as white ebony, it doesn't matter how you say it. Genetically they are a mosaic (standard x white) with ebony added. Most often a kit will be born darkly marked and fade to white as it ages though some are born pure white. I have lines that are born light and darken with age, they never stay the same color as they are born so if you want a particular pattern or color for breeding it is best to purchase an adult.

White Mosaic Chinchilla For Sale

Mosaic is considered a broad term to cover any color on white but in the U.S. it is primarially used for grey and white. White was developed on several ranches, two of the more notable whites were the Wilson White and the Stone White. The stone white was always born with no eyes, and the Wilson white was a pure white animal with grey ears. Many different whites make up modern mosaics and patterns range from pure white to heavily spotted with dark brown eyes. For the most part patterns are completely random.
