Rudis Chameleon for Sale

Western Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and eastern DR Congo are home to a chameleon known as Trioceros rudis, also known as the rudis chameleon, Ruwenzori side-striped chameleon, and Rwenzori bearded chameleon. This species is not found on Tanzania’s Mount Meru, despite popular assumption. In Tanzania, T. sternfeldi chameleons are commonly known as T. rudis.

This chameleon prefers grasslands, reedbeds, and montane heath’s transitional zones, where it may be found among low plants and shrubs (termed “patchy open country”).

T. rudis measures just 10-15 cm (3.9-5.9 in) in length, has no horns, and has no occipital lobes. There is a little crest on its head and a lengthy tail.
