The Snapping turtle I received appeared to be in excellent health and full of energy when I opened the package; it rapidly adjusted to its new habitat (120 gallons) and was eating three medium feeder fish I had prepared for it within an hour. Simply put, it was far larger than I had anticipated. This is incredible, and I cannot suggest it enough. The Russian tortoise was also in excellent condition and eager to explore its new environment once it was unpacked. She took a good drink of water and is already eating lettuce and some zilla tortoise food; we let her run around our carpet for a bit to get some exercise after the long trip, but she had a bit of an accident on the carpet, so she is now in her temporary 40 GAL breeder tank until I get her pen finish, hopefully tomorrow.
