Shipping Your Order!

A fixed rate of $49.99 is charged for overnight shipping of any number of reptiles, amphibians, tarantulas, or scorpions. For instance, the shipping cost for one iguana is $49.99, and the shipment cost for one hundred iguanas is remains $49.99. No matter how many animals or what kind they are, it doesn’t matter.

Orders of feeder crickets and fruit flies are sent through overnight UPS, whereas orders of roaches, ants, earthworms, mealworms, waxworms, hornworms, etc. are shipped via 2-3 day priority USPS.

We need a recipient’s signature upon delivery of any order containing a live reptile, amphibian, or invertebrate (feeder orders do not). When no one can be reached at the delivery address, packages can be kept at a FedEx, UPS, or USPS location nearby for later pickup.

All roach, ant, earthworm, giant mealworm, mealworm, and waxworm orders are sent via USPS priority 2-3 day delivery; generally with tracking only provided upon request. Any feeder orders received after Wednesday at 12pm PST will be processed the following Monday (to ensure the insects do not sit in a facility over the weekend). Please keep in mind that if you order a live reptile, amphibian, tarantula, or scorpion, the feeder insects will not arrive with the animal.

With the exception of crickets, we will e-mail you a tracking number the evening your order ships (usually by 8pm EST). For an idea of when to expect it, see the shipping timeline above (the “Ships on” day). Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday orders will be processed the following business day. Your package will be sent out on Monday if you placed your order on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

Our professionals have been shipping amphibians, reptiles, and invertebrates for years, so you can be assured that your shipment will arrive in one piece.

Inventory Management

We make every effort to maintain our online inventory of reptiles, amphibians, and insects up to date. But, on rare occasions, we may get duplicate animal orders or have delays in updating our website. If for any reason we are unable to process your order, we will contact you immediately.

Special Notes

Unless it’s for feeder insects, we can’t ship to a PO box.

Unfortunately, we are unable to retain orders for later shipment. The shipment schedule is followed and orders are sent.

In the rare event that a shipment is delayed, usually due to bad weather, you will be contacted.

There are no deliveries on major U.S. holidays such as New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Wildlife Laws

We make every effort to follow the apparently endless list of wildlife rules that exist across the United States. We will never intentionally violate any federal, state, or municipal law by transporting any species of reptile, amphibian, or invertebrate. When placing an order, please do your homework and don’t expect us to make an exception.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelling an order is a simple process before it ships. Nevertheless, after the product has left our facility, we are unable to cancel the purchase and will not issue a refund. In times like these, you can count on us to cooperate as much as possible.
